Zaterdag 18 april 2026 organiseert Niji het 11e Sakura Taikai.

Sakura staat voor kersenbloesem en Taikai voor toernooi. Het is een NONMERS toernooi en er worden 4 Hanchan gespeeld van 75 minuten volgens de European Mahjong Association (EMA) Riichi Competition Rules (RCR).
De inschrijving van het toernooi start op 25 januari 2026 en de inschrijving sluit op 11 april 2025. Vanaf medio maart wordt per volle tafel ingeschreven.

Het inschrijfgeld bedraagt € 27.50 (incl. lunch en snacks). De dranken zijn voor eigen rekening, exclusief de eerste koffie of thee.
Inschrijving is definitief als het inschrijfgeld is ontvangen.
Het inschrijfgeld kan worden overgemaakt naar rekeningnummer NL14 ASNB 8822 0230 64 t.n.v. M.A. Deij o.v.v. Sakura Taikai en je naam.

Het minimum aantal deelnemers is 32.

Saturday the 18th of April 2026 Niji will organise the 11th Sakura Taikai.

 Sakura means cherry blossom and Taikai means tournament. It will be a NONMERS tournament with 4 hanchan of 75 minutes, the tournament will be played according the European Mahjong Association (EMA) Riichi Competition Rules (RCR). Registration starts January 25th, 2026 and closes April 11th, 2026. From mid-March onwards, only full tables will be accepted.

The fee for this tournament is 27.50 Euro (lunch and snacks included). The drinks are for your own account, except for the first coffee or tea. The registration fee has to be transferred to: NL14 ASNB 8822 0230 64 in the name of M.A. Deij, BIC code ASNBNL21 ; please put Sakura Taikai and your name in the description.

Registration is final when the registration fee has been received.
